SVAL Nordic is a Swedish fragrance brand inspired by the Nordics, our seasons, and the emotions we associate with them. We create modern fragrances with a Scandinavian soul – easy to wear, beautiful to display, and created to become a part of life. Fragrance according to feeling, not rules.
 
We do not believe in the idea of a single signature scent. Just as we change our clothes, environment, and mood with the seasons, our fragrance can also change with us. That is why SVAL Nordic is building a fragrance wardrobe where each scent captures its own moment. From the bright and airy to the warm, sensual, and embracing. One scent for spring. Another for the summer night. Something completely different when winter arrives. Choose your season. Choose your moment.

The story behind SVAL Nordic
SVAL Nordic was founded by Sofia Liljegren from a simple thought: why does perfume have to feel so complicated, and why does a truly fine fragrance always have to be such a big purchase?
“I wanted to create a fragrance brand that I was missing myself. Something that feels exclusive and well-considered, but at the same time easy to discover and make your own. I love the idea of not having to choose a single scent to define who you are, but rather being able to choose according to season, mood, and moment.” - Sofia Liljegren, founder of SVAL Nordic

From that thought, SVAL emerged.
A brand where the scent is at the center, but where the design, the feeling, and the story surrounding it are just as important.

The name SVAL carries the same idea. Something clean, Nordic, and stripped-back. A feeling of fresh air, nature, and the contrast between cold and warmth that is so strongly associated with the North.

Scandinavian at heart
SVAL Nordic draws inspiration from Nordic nature, the changing seasons, and the Scandinavian approach to design, where the simple is allowed to be beautiful and every detail has a meaning.
From the fragrance and the bottle to the packaging around it, we want to create a whole that feels well-considered, modern, and effortless. And above all, created to be used, not saved.

Carefully selected perfume oils from Switzerland meet Swedish production. Our perfumes are blended, filled, and packaged in Sweden together with selected partners.
